Parisian artist Fafi, who creates graffiti-style drawings of women who represent millennials, has collaborated with many fashion brands, been featured in fashion magazines, and is supported by models and female musicians from around the world, visited Japan. She performed a live painting at GR8 in Laforet Harajuku on October 18th.

The event was held in conjunction with a collaboration party between nana-nana x Fafi (PARIS) and nana-nana x nss magazine (MILANO), and nana-nana's transparent PVC bags printed with her work were prominently featured in the store.

Fafi made his debut on the art scene in 1994 when he attracted attention for the graffiti he painted on a wall in Toulouse, France. She has collaborated with numerous brands, including Chanel, Adidas, LeSportsac, MAC, Hennessy, and Swatch®, and has also signed contracts with Sony and Medicom Toy, selling her products.

Last year, she participated in the "Women on the Walls" exhibition at Art Basel in Miami, where she attracted attention with a floral installation featuring her iconic group, the Fafinettes.

The sexy characters she creates have been animated, and she has provided her work for Mark Ronson's "Oh My God" and Lily Allen's music videos. She has collaborated with Azealia Banks and Mademoiselle Yulia, has directed music videos, and is currently working on her second comic book, following "The Carmine Vault."

This time, as it was during Tokyo Fashion Week, the event was collaborating with Italian online culture magazine "NSS Magazine," and her fans gathered at GR8, a representative of Tokyo's luxury street scene, and Genjiyama Terrace, the back entrance that has become the new facade of Laforet Harajuku, was filled with people until late into the night.
