To celebrate the April 30, 2015 release of their first collection, "MINTDESIGNS" (Seigensha, ¥3,800), mintdesigns is holding the "mintdesigns Scarf Exhibition" at the Center Park/TOKYO Kaihoku on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The exhibition runs until June 2. The exhibition features new scarves (scarves) featuring archive patterns from the brand's early days through to the 2015 Spring/Summer collection. It also features original print designs and new styling suggestions, such as how to wrap them around bags. Ten scarf designs (¥23,000 each) are available for sale at the venue, along with tops (from ¥18,000), cardigans (¥29,000), dresses (from ¥29,000), pouches (¥3,000), and bags (¥18,000) crafted from the scarves. The collection "MINTDESIGNS" features textile and product designs, show footage, production processes, and more, along with the brand's 13-year history. It also includes the designer's spirit for the brand, such as "his thoughts on proposing fashion as a product" and "the relationship between clothing and scenery."
