LOUIS VUITTON will be releasing a collection called "LOUIS VUITTON x GRACE CODDINGTON," which attracted attention when it appeared at the 2019 Cruise Collection show and featured cats and dogs.

Louis Vuitton has collaborated with a variety of artists in the past, and its latest collaborator is Grace Coddington, Anna Wintour's right-hand woman and creative director of American Vogue, who is also known as a cat lover. The collection is based on illustrations of her beloved Persian cats "Pumpkin" and "Blanket," as well as Louis Vuitton Women's Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière's beloved dog "Léon."

The lineup includes leather items such as handbags featuring "Catgram," which features cats hopping around on monograms and other designs, as well as lambswool blankets, nylon umbrellas, and clutch bags shaped like cats and dogs, all of which exude a sense of "timeless luxury with a touch of playfulness."

The handbag lining is made from Louis Vuitton's signature rat-print canvas, and the intricate dog and cat motifs are printed and embossed, demonstrating the technical expertise and attention to detail that are characteristic of Louis Vuitton's craftsmanship.

In addition, to commemorate the launch of "Louis Vuitton x Grace Coddington," a short video (https://jp.louisvuitton.com/jpn-jp/stories/louis-vuitton-x-grace-coddington) has also been released. The adorable video reflects the couple's love for animals, and features the song "Fantastic Cat" by Japanese artist Takako Minekawa.
