Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store will be holding an event called "Autumn of Art: Artistic Nihonbashi Souvenirs" from October 24th to November 6th, with the theme "Enjoying both autumn's art and autumn's appetites to the fullest."

Souvenirs with an artistic atmosphere will be on sale, including sweets with a motif of the lion statue at the main entrance of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, and design tins created in collaboration with the Tokyo National Museum.

Yoku Moku's "Lion Can Sake" (1,296 yen including tax) features an ambigram design on the can with the word "Mitsukoshi" hidden within the word "Sake" and an image of a lion, while Kamakura Toshimaya's "Lion Jounama" (701 yen including tax) is a jonagashi confectionery made by the skilled techniques of a Japanese confectioner, featuring two different lions with different expressions.

The collaborative art cans with the Tokyo National Museum include Ruysdael's "Sandaime Otani Oniji's Edobei Baked Goods Assortment" (1,620 yen including tax) and Morihachi's "One-Wheel Maki-e Raden Hand Box - Fukuume" (2,160 yen including tax), which features an impressive, elegant box modeled after a national treasure.
