This incredibly soft and supple fabric is crafted from carefully selected, top-quality cashmere and exceptionally crafted. Cashmere fibers are woven into extremely thin ribbons, which are then strung together with equally fine silk threads on a circular knitting machine, enhancing the fibers and creating a unique, fur-like texture. Loro Piana has always strived to combine excellence in this precious fiber with the sourcing and production of sustainable raw materials that respect animals, the environment, and people. Cashmere is an innovative and responsible interpretation of fur.

The hair is cut with a special machine to control the length and then perfectly straightened in a process called "shearing".
