Hender Scheme will be holding an event themed around aging, "case study," from October 19th at two Sukima stores in Ebisu and Kappabashi, as well as The Conran Shop Shinjuku flagship store.


This event will showcase the various changes that occur in products over time and with use. This year's event will be expanded in scale from last year, with Sukima Kappabashi, the base of the personalization option "effect_lab," which launched in June this year, joining the venue, and for the first time, aged models with "effect_lab" applied will be exhibited.

"effect_lab" is a personalization option that adds new value to products by engraving them. This service, normally only available at Sukima Kappabashi, will also be available at The Conran Shop Shinjuku flagship store for three days only: October 20th, 27th, and November 3rd during the event. This is a rare opportunity to see the process of personal transformation through aging and "effect_lab." Using the aged models as a reference, you can enjoy imagining your own unique aging process.

The models on display during the event will be selected from a wide range of leather items, from shoes to accessories. Sukima Ebisu will feature classic shoes such as loafers and "manual industrial products," as well as fall/winter shoes from the archives. Sukima Kappabashi will exhibit aged items such as engraved wallets, as well as "mip." Additionally, The Conran Shop Shinjuku flagship store will exhibit tanned patent leather items and aged engraved accessories. While the aged models are not available for purchase, new exhibited items are available. The event will run until October 31st at Sukima Ebisu, and until November 4th at Sukima Kappabashi and The Conran Shop Shinjuku Main Store.
