Mitsuo Shindo, a graphic designer with a long history in the music scene, will hold his first photo exhibition under the name "Photographer Mitsuo Shindo," "graphical photography by mitsuo shindo," at AL in Ebisu from May 30th to June 7th.
Mitsuo Shindo, head of "Contemporary Production," is known as a graphic designer for numerous CD jackets. However, he actually made his debut as a photographer in 1990 with the visuals for Flipper's Guitar's album "Camera Talk." Since then, he has created countless memorable album covers.
"I feel like a newbie. I wanted to just take photographs, and I'm going to present the many musicians I've photographed so far, not as a graphic designer, but as a photographer," says Mitsuo Shindo.
An opening reception will be held on May 30th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a talk event with guest Yasuharu Konishi on June 4th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Reservations for the talk event are currently being accepted, with details posted on the AL official blog.
