Dior Fine Jewelry's iconic Rose des Vents collection, the new Rose des Vents Charm, is here!

On November 1, 2022, the iconic Rose des Vents launched the new Rose des Vents Charm collection.

"The Rose des Vents, or the wind rose, is also a metaphor for creation. To create is to search, to ponder, then to find a marker and set out on a journey. Creation is the trajectory of a journey that is experienced while being present," says Victor de Castellane, Creative Director of Dior Fine Jewelry.

Christian Dior spent his childhood at the mansion "Les Rhumbs" in Granville, Normandy, France. As the mansion was once owned by a shipowner, wind roses, indicating the direction of the wind, were painted throughout the house, backyard, and other locations. The symbolic icon of the Rose des Vents is a medallion that combines the wind rose, a symbol of travel, the lucky star that Monsieur Dior carried, and his beloved rose. Since 2015, Victoire de Castellane has celebrated Christian Dior's lucky star with the Rose des Vents collection, inspired by the endless journeys beckoned by the wind.

In November 2022, the new "Rose des Vents Charms" will be released, featuring Monsieur Dior's favorite motifs such as roses carved from white mother-of-pearl, honeybees, and lily of the valley, sprigs of which were sewn into the hems of dresses on fashion show days, as well as charms with double hearts and skull motifs. The necklaces and bracelets, which bring together lucky charms along with rose des vins, are like amulets. Single earrings modeled after honeybees and lily of the valley are also available.

The new "Rose des Vents Charms" jewelry will be available from November 1st at Dior Fine Jewelry boutiques nationwide.
