ASICS Tiger will release two types of "HyperGEL-LYTE" shoes, featuring the "HyperGEL" midsole, which offers excellent cushioning and rebound, on September 7th.
HyperGEL-LYTE Men's Black x Black (12,000 yen)
The "HyperGEL-LYTE" is based on the classic "Gel-Lyte" style released in 1987, and incorporates ASICS' latest technology to provide a lightweight, comfortable fit.
The men's version comes in black and white, while the women's version comes in mid-gray and white. The vibrant white midsole, studded with beads, creates a modern impression.
The "Hypergel" midsole is made of soft urethane sponge with approximately 10-15% gel (a shock-absorbing material) scattered throughout. The combination of these two opposing materials provides high resilience while maintaining cushioning. It has approximately 30% higher resilience than conventional midsole materials, providing a comfortable "ride" that makes your feet move forward naturally. It has been well-received for its use in running shoes and fitness shoes.
The shoes will be available from September 7th at ASICS Tiger directly managed stores, the ASICS Tiger online store, and specialty sneaker stores. Both men's and women's sizes will be priced at 12,000 yen.
