The Pierre Hermé Paris Boutique at The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto (located on the banks of the Kamogawa Nijo Bridge in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City) will begin taking reservations for Christmas cakes from November 1, 2022. 
Pierre Hermé Paris offers sweets filled with the inspiration of Pierre Hermé, known as the "Picasso of the pastry world." For Christmas 2022, the theme is "The World's Most Beautiful City of Paris," and original drawings by French artist Octave Marsal are displayed on sweets and small boxes. The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, the only hotel in western Japan with a Pierre Hermé Paris pastry chef on-site, will offer a total of three types of Christmas cakes, including one exclusive to the hotel, as well as stollen.

Pierre Hermé Paris's masterpiece, "Ispahan," is now available in the shape of a classic Christmas cake, a bûche (firewood or tree stump). Rose petals and light cream complement the vibrant flavor of lychee, while the crisp, sweet and sour raspberries add a stylish accent. Furthermore, enjoy the exquisite harmony created by the macaron dough, which has both a crispy texture and a soft mouthfeel.
