Marui Group will be exhibiting at Eco-Products 2012, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from December 13th to 15th. The theme of the event is "Working with Customers on Eco and Recycling-Based Fashion," and the group will hold a visitor-participation event. The booth will display the Marui Rakuchin Series, introduce "recycling fashion" as part of its clothing reuse initiative, and introduce its "disaster relief activities" and "energy conservation, resource conservation, and biodiversity" initiatives, which have expanded from its clothing donation event. The visitor-participation event will include the "EcoPro Fall/Winter Clothing Trade-In Charity," where new and good-condition clothing will be traded in by consumers and used for the benefit of victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and developing countries. Participating visitors will receive a 200 yen coupon for each item of clothing, valid at any Marui store. Additionally, a "Rakuchin Care Workshop" will be held, where attendees will learn simple shoe and sneaker care techniques.
