"Nordic Yatai," a limited-time event-style shop featuring a variety of Scandinavian brands and shops, will be held from August 14th to 27th at the Museum Street & Living Gallery on the 6th floor of Sogo Yokohama.

"Nordic Yatai" is a limited-time event-style shop that launched in 2016 at Landmark Plaza in Yokohama's Minato Mirai district, with the concept of a "fun Scandinavian gift market that is like a festival, and that can be enjoyed by people of all ages." The store will offer a wide selection of wooden products, textiles, accessories, vintage tableware, and Nordic food from leading designers and brands from Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
This event, which will be held at Sogo Yokohama, will feature a wide selection of popular Nordic stall items, including Nordic goods from popular brands, Nordic character goods such as Moomin and Lisa Larson, and Nordic vintage pottery and fabrics.
Cook's Home "Placemat" (1,000 yen each)
There will also be a lineup of many brands making their first appearance. Design House Stockholm, a pioneer of the Scandinavian design boom and design shops, offers lighting and interior goods that combine functional, sophisticated design with timeless beauty, while fabric brand Cooks Home offers cotton linen products with carefully selected colors and prints that evoke the gentle nature of Scandinavia.
Lisa Larson "Cat Teapot" (¥5,000)
A full lineup of Lisa Larson merchandise will also be available. The collection will include cute miscellaneous goods such as masking tape and key chains featuring adorable characters created by her, including Mikey the cat, as well as stationery and ceramic objects.
Kippis "Nordic Sauces" (550 yen each)
Kippis, a Nordic lifestyle brand whose name means "cheers" in Finnish, has released bags, handkerchiefs, and cut cloths featuring colorful Nordic patterns created by Nordic designers. Also noteworthy is their Nordic sauce series, made with ingredients commonly loved in Scandinavia, such as rhubarb and the herb dill.
