The fourth installment of Louis Vuitton's limited-edition Artycapucines Collection, each infused with the unique vision of an artist, further demonstrates the iconic bag's limitless potential to inspire creativity. Six internationally renowned artists - Daniel Buren, Kennedy Janko, Park So-bo, Amelie Bertrand, Peter Marino and Ugo Rondinone - have treated the iconic Capucines bag, named after the Rue Neuve des Capucines where founder Louis Vuitton first opened his store in 1854, as a blank canvas, transforming it into a contemporary work of art that reflects their own unique vision. Just as the first three Arty Capucines collections displayed astonishing creativity, nine new bags are designed this time, showcasing the collection's unique blend of artistic flair and imagination with the ingenuity and exquisite craftsmanship of the Maison's master artisans. For the first time, Daniel Buren's trademark black and white stripes are presented in four color variations, showcasing trompe-l'oeil designs on both sides. Kennedy Janko's creations are crafted from 3D-printed leather, then handcrafted by Italian artisans to impart a patinated metallic sheen. Park So-bo beautifully recreates one of her signature "Ecriture" paintings on textured, decorated calf leather. Amélie Bertrand's distinctive vision is reflected in an innovative method: hand-spraying bags with shifting colors and phosphorescence. Peter Marino presents an all-black creation featuring bold stud embellishments and exclusive fastenings. Ugo Rondinone, meanwhile, hand-sews over 14,000 beads into his playful, colorful Harlequin-inspired bags. Each bag this season will be presented in a specially designed gift box. Previously, the highly anticipated Artycapucines collection has showcased designs by renowned artists such as Henry Taylor, Beatriz Milhazes, Urs Fischer, Zhao Zhao, Vik Muniz, Paola Pivi, and Tschabalala Self. This latest collection once again affirms the Maison's legacy of combining Louis Vuitton's innovative spirit and craftsmanship with the work and creativity of artists. Each bag embodies the Maison's tradition of savoir-faire and craftsmanship, proving that the Capucines is the ultimate embodiment of femininity and the perfect embodiment of the Louis Vuitton woman.

Each bag in the fourth Arty Capucines collection is limited to 200 pieces (Daniel Buren's bags are limited to 50 pieces per color variation). They will be available in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide from October 20, 2022.

Continuing its longstanding commitment to art, Louis Vuitton will exhibit at Paris+ par Art Basel, the new major contemporary and modern art fair, making its debut at the Grand Palais Ephémère. 43 works by the world's most renowned artists will be on display. One of the most notable exhibits is the Artycapucines Collection, which will see all of the bags in the collection on public display for the first time.
