My first encounter with the Raisin Butter Sandwich from Kinoshita, a "small cafe with delicious sweets and books" in Hyogo Prefecture, was when I fell in love with its cute appearance at first sight. I immediately ordered one.

The fluffy, rich butter cream sandwiched between moist, lightly sweet cookies has a rich, firm texture like whipped cream. It was so delicious, it was beyond imagination, unlike anything I'd ever tasted before.  

The butter cream is made with domestic butter and homemade rum raisins. "I make everything with the utmost care," says shop owner Kinoshita, and his "Raisin Butter Sandwich" is a gentle, flavorful treat brimming with love.

It's recommended to eat it chilled for a refreshing taste, or at room temperature like a cake.
