Now in its eighth year, Lemon Life's first design reader, "Tetsuya Chihara and Lemon Life: Stories That Help You Understand What's Going On Behind the Scenes with Design," is now on sale. To commemorate the publication, the "Tetsuya Chihara and Lemon Life" exhibition will be held at Daikanyama T-Site from August 4th to 26th, and advance sales will begin.

This first design reader from Lemon Life, a design office headed by art director Tetsuya Chihara, is a packed 152 pages long, featuring original photographs by Riho Yoshioka and Chihara, a roundtable discussion with Lemon Life staff, and an archive of their work. The book deconstructs and reflects on Lemon Life's design through conversations with five people who have appeared as subjects in advertising works and other projects directed by Chihara: Akimoto Kozue, Adachi Yumi, Ito Marika, Yoshioka Riho, and Yoshizawa Kayoko.
To coincide with the publication, Daikanyama T-Site will be holding the "Chihara Tetsuya and Lemon Life" exhibition from August 4th to 26th. A total of seven artworks will be on display, including four collaborative works with Adachi Yumi and three new graphic works by Chihara. Lemon Life merchandise and T-shirts will also be on sale. In addition, Chihara will be performing live painting on the first day, August 4th, from 12:00 to 15:30 on the architectural design floor on the first floor of Building 2.
