Dior's Spring/Summer 2023 women's collection was unveiled at 10 PM on September 27, 2022 (3 PM local time), featuring a floral print dress reminiscent of Japonism. A video has now been released showing the meticulous savoir-faire that created these patterns, which adorn the collection with beautiful jacquard and embroidery.

Two patterns were born from the archives of Tassinari & Châtel by Lelièvre, a long-established silk weaving house in Lyon, France. "Brocade Sown with Flowers" features delicate floral motifs that reinterpret garlands and bouquets, and "Bird of Paradise Brocade" is inspired by the Japonisme art movement that developed in France between 1860 and 1890 and features bold motifs of birds and butterflies.
