Popular models and the latest fashions gather together! "Tokyo Runway 2013 AW" to be held on September 14th

Jun 4, 2013

Tokyo Runway 2013 Autumn/Winter, one of Asia's largest and most popular girls' fashion shows, will be held on September 14th at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium (1-17-1 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). Tickets will go on sale at various ticket agencies starting August 10th. The show's theme is "Neo-Japan."
More than 100 models participate in each fashion show, including popular models such as Nicole Ishida, 2009 Miss Universe Emiri, and Angelica Michibata. This year's show will also see the debut of charismatic model Hana Imai, who appears in magazines and on television. Approximately 30 brands are expected to participate, including Dear Princess, Samantha Thavasa, VICKY, and the debuting brand MARRY GARET.
The show will be divided into four stages. Admission fees are 3,000 yen for unreserved seats, 4,500 yen for reserved seats for two stages, and 7,000 yen for reserved seats for four stages.

Tokyo Runway was launched in March 2012 as a show renamed "Kobe Collection Tokyo Performance" to coincide with the 10th anniversary and 20th event of Kobe Collection, a pioneering girls' fashion show. This marks the fourth time it has been held. Positioning Tokyo as a representative city for real clothes, it aims to spread Japan's proud fashion culture throughout Asia. Tokyo Runway 2013SS, held this spring, attracted an impressive 15,936 visitors.
