Starting with the 2022/23 season, EA7 Emporio Armani will be the new official technical outerwear provider for the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI). This collaboration will continue through to the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and will include not only technical competition wear, but also apparel and accessories for athletes to wear during the competitions, both for leisure and formal occasions.

Giorgio Armani's ties to the world of winter sports extend beyond the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi in 2014, PyeongChang in 2018 and Beijing in 2022, as well as collaborations with Italian and Swiss ski schools and CONI, and now to this project. The brand has been present at major international competitions where the world's best athletes compete and attract attention.
For this collaboration, a specially designed wardrobe, including accessories, was created using cutting-edge technology to ensure optimal performance. The wardrobe includes ski suits, overalls, jackets, mid-layers, puffer jackets, pants, shorts, sweatshirts, vests, and T-shirts, as well as accessories such as gym bags, backpacks, hats, and sneakers.
The garment features a base of varying shades of gray, with the word "ITA" in large gold letters and three brushstrokes in the colors of the flag.
The outerwear is filled with padding made from two different technologies: ARDOR7 Recycled and STRATUM7 Recycled. ARDOR7 Recycled, an innovative blend of microfiber and certified recycled polyester, offers advanced insulation, waterproofing (Protectum7 20,000mm), and breathability, while STRATUM7 Recycled, made from certified microfiber, creates a breathable outer layer with a heat shield.

"The world of sport, where values I deeply believe in exist: team spirit, hard work, respect, loyalty, etc., always inspire and excite me. This new collaboration, which began several years ago in preparation for the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, has brought me much satisfaction and the opportunity to work with great athletes. Winter sports also offer a great platform for experimenting with style and performance, with a renewed focus on the environment."
FISI President Flavio Roda commented:
