adidas Originals has launched a new sneaker called "P.O.D.System" that specializes in free foot movement and comfort. It will be released worldwide on June 16th.
The "P.O.D.System" is a new sneaker silhouette that has been reconstructed based on adidas' unique cushioning system, "POINT OF DEFLECTION SYSTEM," which was first installed in running shoes in the mid-90s.
Inspired by the design of the "Podular Sole" sole system used in Adidas' archival shoe "EQT CUSHION 95," the shoe features a three-part midsole: "EVA" for high rebound in the forefoot, "BOOST foam" for shock absorption and comfort in the heel, and a "POINT OF DEFLECTION BRIDGE" special structure that meets the different needs of each area of the foot. This midsole is comprised of three components, allowing for free movement and comfort.
The color scheme is primarily black, with neon yellow accents in the central sole and a blue line running from the tongue to the upper. The price is 15,000 yen.
