From July 11th to 30th, Hermès will be holding the audience-participation exhibition "With Her," set in a cinematic setting, in collaboration with the National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo.

This exhibition, based on the theme of "Considerations on the image of the modern woman" proposed by Hermès, interactively expresses Hermès' new worldview under the supervision of Bali Barret, Artistic Director of Hermès' women's department, and Nadége Vanhée-Cybulski, Artistic Director of Women's Ready-to-Wear.

Stepping into the venue, which has been transformed into a film studio, you will find a filming in progress, following the portrait of a woman. The story begins with a "writer" pursuing the existence of a certain woman - "her." One afternoon, the writer encounters her on a movie screen. Captivated by her presence and allure that emanates beyond the screen, the writer decides to approach her. However, she remains invisible...

Various anecdotes surrounding her are scattered throughout the venue, and the audience follows the writer as they pursue her. Their image is captured through encounters with people who knew her well, footage that captures her in fragments, and her beloved Hermès objects. This story is a screenplay in the making, or a film in the making, and visitors to the venue could become the writer, film director, film crew, or even actors. She is endlessly free, graceful, and powerful, wearing the allure of living in the present. Will we be able to meet "her" at the end of the story?
