A pop-up store for the new accessory line, "Tales of Spain," from Spanish luxury leather brand LOEWE, opened on the 5th in the bag section on the first floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store. It will run until June 18th.
The collection is inspired by Spanish mythology ("Tales"). Images of the "Mariposa" (butterfly), of which there are over 200 species in Spain, and the "Spanish Barocco" spiral pattern, a popular motif on LOEWE silk scarves, are printed on the leather in vibrant colors by skilled artisans.
The pop-up store will carry LOEWE's signature "Satchel" crossbody bag, featuring a sophisticated print on smooth nappa leather, as well as tote bags, shoulder bags, pass cases, belts, and more. Casual items aimed at younger generations, such as logo-emblazoned sweatshirts and nail stickers, will also be available. Additionally, a double pouch with different colours and designs on the front and back is currently on sale at the Isetan Shinjuku store.
This pop-up store is modelled on the image of a Spanish kiosk called "KIOSCO", and features a counter resembling a convenience store. When you purchase an item, there is also a "gachapon" machine where you can win sweatshirts and stickers from the "Tales of Spain" collection.
