Hermès presents its new tableware collection, "A WALK IN THE GARDEN."
"A WALK IN THE GARDEN" was inspired by the English garden, where a myriad of flowers bloom and a variety of plants thrive.
The patterns, which combine lattice, checkerboard, and herringbone patterns with flowing twigs and leaves, are designed to create different compositions when combined with the same motif. The effortless design is akin to an English garden. When you place the playful collection on the table, the Maison's spirit is lightly exuded, as if a vibrant garden were unfolding before your eyes.
"A garden is a place where shapes and colors are born, a place where imaginations can soar freely. While at first glance it may appear unstructured, the beauty of the design lies there," says Irish artist Nigel Peake, who designed the collection.
The collection lineup includes 20 items, including a coffee cup and saucer (90ml/18,500 yen), a teacup and saucer (160ml/22,000 yen), a mug (300ml/16,500 yen), a bowl (500ml/21,000 yen), a bread plate (14cm/9,800 yen), a dessert plate (21cm/13,000 yen), a dinner plate (27cm/17,000 yen), and a pot (1L/103,000 yen).
The collection will be available in advance at the Hermes Ginza store from May 25th, at the Hermes online boutique from June 1st, and at all other Hermes boutiques from June 15th.
