Craft Fair Matsumoto 2018, featuring artists from a variety of craft genres such as ceramics, woodworking/lacquerware, dyeing/weaving/felt, glass, metal, and leather, will be held on May 26th and 27th at Agatanomori Park in Matsumoto City.


This year marks the 34th time the fair has been held, and 291 artisans will be exhibiting, including 232 groups in the craft category, 18 groups in the materials/tools/information category, and 41 groups in the food category. Craftsmen from all over Japan, as well as Nagano Prefecture, will gather to exhibit and sell their works.



As this is a popular event that attracts many visitors every year, we recommend using public transportation such as the city loop bus to get there. Over the two days of the fair, there will also be "Bus Day Matsumoto," where you can get discounts on local buses.
