This season, Demna Gvasalia's Balenciaga collection evolved from a series of themes that are signature to the brand: deconstruction and fusion of clothing, classic and archetypal materials, exaggerated and contracted silhouettes, and the repurposing of the everyday.
Iconic pieces include outerwear layered with tartan blankets and quilted jackets, a checked tweed coat that echoes the structure and reflective trim of motorcycle wear, shirts with kimono-style sleeves, wide-leg trousers with the triple horizontal zipper seen on outdoor pants, and stonewashed jeans.
Accessories such as a BALENCIAGA logo bag, low-heeled stiletto boots with a gold "BB" logo, and earrings inspired by cookie cutters and superhero figurines further elevate Demna's multi-choice wardrobe.
