"Drop 2," part of season three of adidas Originals by Alexander Wang's collaborative collection, will be released on May 19th.
Inspired by the mistakes and imperfections that occur during product manufacturing, season three reimagines classic adidas icons using motifs such as grainy graphics, asymmetrical prints, and irreparable wrinkles that would normally result in a product being rejected.
Drop 2 features 16 pieces of apparel and footwear, including women's items for the first time. Focusing on workwear, the lineup features many items suitable for everyday wear. The pixelated "CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE" motif is printed all over pants, T-shirts, dresses, and jackets.
The iconic AW Crew crewneck and AW Joggers track pants set has been updated with a heavy piqué fabric and black colorway for an edgy, modern look. The women's collection, making its debut, includes the AW Crop TT, a slim-fit, cropped track jacket, a matching set of shorts and track pants, and the AW Dress, a tricot and jacquard baby dress. The AW Coach Jacket features bold graphics across the entire front and is made with high-tech materials and sophisticated cutting, typical of Alexander Wang.
It will be available at select shops worldwide, as well as at Adidas Originals and Alexander Wang brand stores and online.
