This exhibition will showcase approximately 140 outstanding masterpieces from across the world and throughout history from the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum's vast collection of over 34,000 pieces, with the theme of "Enjoy, Learn." The aim is for visitors to experience the rich and diverse learning experience of a museum, different from that of learning at school or through books. By taking in the museum's atmosphere, the close-up presence of the artworks, and carefully examining the works in accordance with their own interests, they may discover previously unnoticed aspects of the artworks, discover things they didn't understand, and enjoy that "uncertainty."

The exhibition will not just be about viewing artworks, but will also encourage a fun and educational experience of photography. The exhibit features works that will make you want to talk about them. The subjects and situations are mysterious, and by imagining the feelings of the artist and the subject, you can even see things that aren't in the photographs.

The exhibit also proposes "art appreciation," a practice often used in university entrance exams and corporate training programs, where visitors can carefully examine a single work, deepen their reflection, listen to others' opinions, and share new perspectives. A "Careful Viewing Guidebook" (Japanese and English) is provided to guide visitors through the viewing process, leading to an interactive photo appreciation experience. By embracing an open approach, visitors can fully immerse themselves in the world of the works, sensing connections and differences between themes, motifs, and artists.

During the exhibition, "Gallery Talks by the Curator in Charge" will be held on the first and third Fridays of each month from 4:00 PM. On July 7th, "Chromakey Land" will be held, where visitors can take unique commemorative photos using "chromakey" compositing. During the summer vacation period, on July 28th and 29th, participants can experience hands-on photo-making workshops.

In addition, to ensure that everyone, regardless of disabilities, can enjoy viewing photographs, there will be gallery talks accompanied by sign language on the first Friday of each month, and art appreciation workshops with the hearing impaired will be held on June 3rd and 24th. A list of the exhibited works and details of other events can be found on the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum's official website (http://topmuseum.jp).
