TARO HORIUCHI, designed by Taro Horiuchi, has presented his 2018-19 Fall/Winter collection. "Hundreds of years of carpets evoke a mythical story." This idea was the starting point for this season's designs. Continuing from the pre-collection, the collection's concept of "a new worldview born from layering nostalgia and rusticity with futuristic, sharp elements" continues with the collection, incorporating modern details, materials, and colors. The collection features a padded jacket boldly reworked from the carpet's original pattern, as well as gowns and skirts made from lace featuring animals extracted from the same pattern, coordinated with tops and pants featuring modern motifs such as borders and lines.
