Valentino has teamed up with Douglas Coupland to create a capsule collection of sweatshirts and T-shirts featuring thought-provoking quotes from his work. The items are available exclusively online from September 9th.

Douglas Coupland is a Canadian writer and visual artist. His debut novel, Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture, was published in 1991 and became an international bestseller. He has since published 14 novels, three books of short stories, and eight books of non-fiction, as well as work for stage, film, and galleries. In 2014, Coupland's first major solo art exhibition opened at the Vancouver Art Gallery and traveled to museums worldwide. Binge was published in October 2021.
This year, the Maison and Coupland collaborated to create the booklet "Pink PP Seen by Douglas Coupland" for Valentino's Fall/Winter 2022-23 "Pink PP" show, as well as "Valentino The Narrative II," the second chapter of a text-only advertising campaign in collaboration with internationally renowned authors.

The latest capsule collection in collaboration with Coupland features tone-on-tone printed cotton hoodies and T-shirts in Pink PP and black. Each garment features four different messages.

Messages printed on the clothing:
"WE ALL HAVE SECRET MESSAGES HIDDEN WITHIN US"
"MY BRAIN FEELS LIKE FRIDGE MAGNET POETRY"
"I MISS MY PRE-INTERNET BRAIN"
"BEAUTY HAS KIND OF BECOME AN ACT OF REBELLION"
Back at the Maison Valentino strengthens its ties with the literary world and celebrates the ‘Pink PP’ collection as a sign, a code and an identity. ’Pink PP’ is a powerful, unique and captivating fashion statement.
