LOUIS VUITTON will open the "MEN'S FALL-WINTER 2018 PRECOLLECTION POP-UP STORE", a pop-up store showcasing the brand's 2018 Fall/Winter Men's Pre-Collection, in Shibuya from April 20th to May 6th. A press preview was held ahead of the opening on April 19th.
Opening in Shibuya, Tokyo, a hub of fashion and pop culture that is always attracting attention from around the world, this pop-up store will be the first in Japan to sell the brand's 2018 Fall/Winter Men's Pre-Collection.
This collection draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, from urban travelers to the outdoors. The "Monogram" takes center stage in every category, reinterpreted anew. This season's color palette, an appealing mix of lightness and classic style, brings to life neon colors, vivid pinks, blues, reds, and even autumnal hues like camel and forest green, all set against the classic navy base. It captures the modern traveler in a bold and innovative way, looking back at the past and anticipating the future, while evoking "Louis Vuitton Forever." The pop-up store is comprised of two floors. At the entrance, decorated with black and yellow Monogram motifs, visitors are greeted by a large balloon featuring Vivienne, a character from the "Gifting" collection who also appears in this collection. The first floor will be the first in Japan to stock a wide variety of items, including the "Discovery Backpack" (358,000 yen), "Pochette Apollo" (92,000 yen), and "Danube PM" (188,000 yen), which are exclusive to the pop-up store. Also available is the "Nano Bag" (188,000 yen), which is exclusive to the Japanese pop-up store. Cute T-shirts and accessories for women will also be available.

Figures of "Vivienne" designed by four internationally renowned artists - Keiichi Tanaami, Theseus Chan, Yoshikazu Yamagata, and Masaho Anotani - are installed in a maze-like space made of mirrors, allowing visitors to enjoy seeing "Vivienne" reflected in the mirrors as they walk through.

Although the expressions are different, such as Tanaami's halo and Anotani's using washi paper, the works of these artists, who share the same spirit, bring harmony to the space.
