Hender Scheme has launched "PARALLEL/," a project that recreates previously released products with a different approach. The first model will be available at Hender Scheme stores nationwide from April 7th.
"PARALLEL/ PEAK" (¥16,000)
The word "PARALLEL" means "parallel, parallel, or in parallel." The newly launched "PARALLEL/" project is one of the brand's new approaches, expressing through its craftsmanship the idea that things have various layers, just as the same phenomenon can be perceived as black or white depending on how it is perceived. The products released so far are not the answers themselves, but rather aim to concretely demonstrate the existence of space that can be expanded upon. The model that will go on sale from April 7th is a reproduction of the leather mules "peak," which were released in Spring/Summer 2017. Originally produced as leather shoes using traditional leather shoe manufacturing methods, this model has now been vulcanized to create the "PARALLEL/ PEAK" (16,000 yen) with a canvas upper and rubber sole, and the "PARALLEL/ PEAK with tassels" (18,000 yen) with tanned leather tassels. Each shoe comes in two colors, ivory and black, and comes in a total of four styles. Be sure to check out these shoes, created through a reproduction approach, that are both familiar and unique.
