Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer is pleased to announce the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Japan Limited Edition. This model follows on from the popularity of the Japan-exclusive TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Chronograph Japan Limited Edition, which was released in June. Finished in black and rose gold, it offers a modern interpretation of the elegant black and gold color combination used in the heavy armor worn by ancient Japanese warriors and samurai. The base model, the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph, is an iconic timepiece that inherits a rich heritage and adds a modern touch to its sophisticated design.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Japan Limited Edition, limited to 300 pieces in Japan, features a 42mm dial with a black sunray finish, the chronograph hour and minute counters at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and the small second at 6 o'clock are finished with rose gold-colored lacquer, the hour and minute hands, chronograph hands, applied hour indexes and the TAG Heuer logo are rose gold-plated, and the iconic "Carrera Heuer 02 80 Hours" lettering is printed in rose gold. The rose gold lines, which shine with a beautiful, powerful luster against the black dial, are reminiscent of the silhouette of a drawn sword, and the azure-finished subdials at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions add further depth, creating a gorgeous look for the wrist.

The TAG Heuer Carrera, which has an aesthetic that is reminiscent of Japanese culture as it is refined and understated, has inherited the high legibility that is most important in its illustrious history as a watch, its elegant DNA born from racing, and its timeless, sophisticated design since the introduction of the first Heuer Carrera in 1963.


The sapphire case back allows you to see the uniquely designed rotor, column wheel and Côtes de Genève decoration that are characteristic of the TAG Heuer in-house chronograph movement, the Heuer 02. The rotor is made of rose gold, evocative of the metal used in helmets, adding a sense of dignity and a beautiful shine. The watch also incorporates a column wheel and vertical clutch that reflect the high-quality chronograph timekeeping and manufacture movements. Made up of 168 components in total, it boasts an excellent power reserve of approximately 80 hours.

The "TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Japan Limited Edition" is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. The case back of each watch is engraved with the serial number "001-300/300", indicating that it is one of 300 limited edition models. This exclusive watch comes with a travel case in a box that coordinates with the rose gold design.
