FLIGHT 001 is a New York-based travel concept store that enjoys immense popularity, especially in the United States and around the world. It offers a wide selection of functional and humorous travel items.

The brand was born in 1998 when founders John Sension and Brad John met on Air France Flight 023. Having long been frustrated by the amount of time it took to prepare for a trip, the two men shared their dreams while flying between New York and Paris, and came up with the idea of a "travel store that was as streamlined as an airplane journey itself."

Their dream became a reality, and Flight One, a retro-modern travel store designed to satisfy every traveler, was born. The store's image is inspired by the golden age of air travel in the 1950s and 1960s.
