Adidas will release a new model of racing shoe for elite runners, the adidas adizero Sub2, on March 16th.

Adidas adizero Sub2 (¥18,000)

As the name suggests, the adizero Sub2 is a model aimed at elite runners aiming for a sub-2 full marathon time, or "under two hours." From the upper to the sole, the technology and materials cultivated in the previous "adizero" series have been further evolved to support even greater speed for runners who challenge their limits. The single-layer lightweight mesh upper features an evolved MicroFit last for a lightweight, snug fit. The midsole features BOOST Light, a new material that's the lightest in BOOST™ foam history. The Microweb outsole, an improved version of the Stretchweb outsole, further enhances grip. Wilson Kipsang
