Akio Kushida, a photographer active both in Japan and abroad who has worked on numerous stage and film posters, is holding a new photo exhibition titled "Talking with the Horses -naked winter-" from March 22nd at the Canon Gallery Ginza.

The exhibition focuses on horses, a subject that Akio Kushida has been photographing for some time, and will feature 30 newly taken photographs of a stray horse named "Kandachiuma" that lives quietly in Shiriyazaki, Aomori Prefecture.

Kushida Akio, essayist and model who has written books such as "Dear Heisei Nakamura-za" and "My Shanghai Vansking," commented on the exhibition as follows: "The horses standing majestically in the falling snow are like a poem. The divine loneliness of the winter-dwelling horses is surely revealed in the depths of winter. An infinitely beautiful silence filled the air."
