In his autographed "The Little Dictionary of Fashion," published in 1954, Christian Dior praised the allure of black, which is wearable across all eras, ages and occasions:
"A whole book could be written on black."
Victoire de Castellane, Artistic Director of Dior Fine Jewelry, writes a new chapter in the history of timepieces with the launch of La Dés de Dior, dressed in all black. Black is a color deeply linked to Dior's history, and Victoire envisioned LA D DE DIOR BLACK ULTRAMATTE as a mysterious yet familiar canvas that reflects the wearer's personality. Two models will be available: one with a black DLC-coated stainless steel case and a satin-patterned bezel, and another with a more chic bezel set entirely in black diamonds, exuding a deep sparkle.
