adidas Originals has teamed up once again with NEIGHBORHOOD, a charismatic streetwear brand popular in Japan, to release the collaborative collection "adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD."
Inspired by the Shinsengumi, an urban group exuding electric energy, this collection fuses the DNA of both brands to create a sportswear collection that can be worn on the street. The monochrome aesthetic that founder Shinsuke Takizawa is known for, combined with the adidas three-stripe design, creates a premium finish.
"NH RIDERS TRACK JACKET CD7736" (¥36,000)
Classic apparel pieces, including the "GAME JERSEY," offer subtle twists on familiar sportswear essentials. The collection's headline pieces, the "RIDERS TRACK JACKET" and "RIDERS TRACK SHORTS," pay homage to practical motorcycle gear with quilted embroidery and elements of iconic leather biker jackets. The lineup includes eight models that fuse the world of "adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD," including the "M-51 JACKET," which embodies a nostalgic atmosphere and technical sportswear design while blending classic neighborhood cues, as well as the "COMMANDER SWEAT" and "TRACK PANTS."
"Gazell Super NBHD DA8836" (22,000 yen)
Similar to the apparel, a total of four footwear models are available, based on a luxurious jet black color scheme. The "Gazelle" and "I-5923" faithfully express the jet-black aesthetic that is characteristic of the Neighborhood collection, featuring materials such as Primeknit and high-quality suede, and the sophisticated collaboration logo accented by the three-stripe design. The "NMD_R1 PK," with its Primeknit upper, features striking geometric patterns and a distinctive jagged design, transforming the original NMD model into a completely new and special shoe.
"Chop Shop NBHD DA8839" (¥24,000)
In addition, a new silhouette, "Chop Shop NBHD," created exclusively for this collaboration will be released. The upper is finished with Shinsuke Takizawa's aesthetic and vintage inspiration, and is equipped with a BOOST midsole.
