Hibiya Central Market, a small town-like complex store born from a meeting between creative director Minami Takayuki and long-established bookstore Yurindo, will open on the third floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, which is scheduled to open on March 29th.
The store, which expresses the memories of markets, street corners, and alleys that Minami has collected from all over the world on an area of 7,000 square meters, will house nine stores across a variety of categories, offering food, alcohol, books, clothing, and more, and will be developed as a place where anyone can feel a sense of nostalgia and familiarity and find their place.
 "Library"
"Library""Library" is a symbolic space, a place where books and the real world intertwine. Surrounded by walls of bookshelves, the interior resembles a bazaar, filled with clothing and accessories from around the world, as well as anonymous vintage pieces collected in Europe. The vintage furniture, which serves as both fixtures and merchandise, is replaced with new pieces as they are sold, constantly changing the store's appearance.
"Graphpaper" offers a unique presentation that lies somewhere between a gallery and a select shop. In addition to offering high-quality items carefully selected in collaboration with advisor Tsuyoshi Futamura, the store also carries items unique to its Hibiya location.
 "Ikkaku"
"Ikkaku"At Kumamoto specialty coffee shops "AND COFFEE ROASTERS," "Yurindo," and the mobile concept store "FreshService," modeled after a fictional shipping company, you can enjoy hand-brewed specialty coffee while picking up magazines, daily necessities, and souvenirs, just like at a station kiosk. At "Ikkaku," designed by Tomohiro Maruyama, who also works on "MAISON CINQUANTE-CINQ," you can relax and enjoy food and drinks like fried chicken, highballs, and soba noodles.
 "Barber Shop Hibiya"
"Barber Shop Hibiya""Barber Shop Hibiya," supervised by Minoru Fujii and boasting Japan's highest level of hygiene management, offers not only hairdressing and grooming services for office workers but also shaving services for women. "CONVEX," an eyewear store known for its impressive selection of deadstock vintage French frames, has even collected rare museum pieces thanks to the discerning eye of Kazuki Yanagihara of Sapporo vintage eyewear shop "Fre'quence." "Tent Gallery," with its striking military tent façade, offers unique and diverse exhibitions and projects that are only possible here.
Among the many tenants at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, which is garnering much attention due to its upcoming opening, this is sure to be a major draw.
