The Bunka Fashion Museum, an affiliate of his alma mater, Bunka Fashion College, will be hosting the first major exhibition showcasing NIGO's treasured vintage collection, which he has been collecting since childhood, from September 14th.

NIGO's personal plan was to convey the joy and depth of vintage fashion and to inspire many young fashion designers from his alma mater, as well as Japan, to captivate the world. The exhibition is sure to delight fashion enthusiasts and vintage enthusiasts worldwide. Limited-edition merchandise, such as a catalog featuring carefully selected vintage items and T-shirts, will also be available exclusively at the exhibition venue.



■NIGO
Graduated from Bunka Fashion College in 1991. While still a student, he began his career as a DJ, writer, stylist, and editor. He currently designs for his own brand, HUMAN MADE, and also works as a creative director for companies such as Cyber Agent. He has also presented two capsule collections for LOUIS VUITTON. In September 2021, he was appointed artistic director of KENZO, a subsidiary of LVMH.
