For a total of 23 days from March 31st to April 22nd, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse will be holding "FLOWER GARDEN 2018," an event that will celebrate the arrival of spring with 14,200 flowers.

This year's theme is "Wildflower Garden," and the venue will incorporate many of the plants that were popular last year, adding a new flower field element to the garden style that gives the feeling of strolling in nature. Wildflowers (a general term for wild flowers that grow in the natural environment) will be used to recreate a colorful flower field within the venue, creating a spring-like space filled with colorful flowers and greenery in the space sandwiched between historical buildings.

Once you pass through the entrance, you will find four flower gardens: the colorful "Wild Flower Garden," the refreshing "Sky Blue Garden" reminiscent of the harbor sea, clear blue skies and white clouds, the third "Fragrance Garden" featuring fragrant plants where you can enjoy refreshing scents, and the "Vegetable Garden" which uses leafy vegetables to create a beautiful landscape while also being conscious of food. Furthermore, from 6pm to midnight, the gardens are lit up, allowing you to enjoy photogenic views.

The venue will be home to HANABAR, a cafe and bar that opened in Tokyo last year, so that visitors can enjoy flowers not only visually but also tasting them. They will be serving up visually stunning food and drinks, such as the "Flower Cocktail" (800 yen including tax), which uses edible flowers, and the "Cork Dry" (500 yen including tax), which is a wine cork decorated with various types of dried flowers. On the final day of the event, a limited number of free flowers will be given away to thank visitors.

In addition, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse will be holding an in-house campaign called "Red Brick SPRING ~16th Anniversary~" during the event. Each store will offer wildflower garden-themed menu items and spring-colored products, such as "Fragrance Diffusers" (¥1,080 including tax) and "Flower Rings" (¥648 including tax) at B-COMPANY, "Antique Flowers" (¥3,780 including tax) and "Antique Candle Holders" (¥3,780 including tax) at Yokohama's Best Red Brick Shop Daniel, and "Cherry Blossom and Mochi Gold Leaf Roll Cake" (¥745 including tax) at nana's green tea.
