Maison Margiela presents the new iconic Glam Slam bag. This quilted shoulder bag, which first appeared on the runway in the Spring/Summer 2018 "Défilé" collection, is now available.


Inspired by a new concept of "unconscious glamour" expressed through the casual scenes and gestures of everyday life, the Glam Slam features a curvaceous, cloud-like shape, unique quilted details, and a lightweight, silky texture. Carried like a pillow, the bag embodied elegance and comfort on the runway, evoking a modern-day transitional style.

The delicate, silky nappa leather lambskin comes in four colors: white, black, red, and nude. It comes in two sizes, medium and large. It can be used as a shoulder bag, clutch bag, or handbag, and features a frame and magnet closure and a transparent buckle on the shoulder strap. The medium is priced at 190,000 yen, and the large at 240,000 yen.

Pre-sales will begin on February 1st at Maison Margiela Omotesando and Dover Street Market Ginza. It will be available at Maison Margiela directly managed stores and select shops nationwide from the 14th.
