Tod's expands its military style with luxurious leather bows [Men's Fall/Winter 2018-19]

Feb 6, 2018

Tod's held a presentation for its Fall/Winter 2018-19 men's collection on January 14th. Kendall Jenner and Roberto Bolle, étoile of Milan's La Scala, attended the event, and the arrival of the two, who were featured in the brand's Spring/Summer 2018 advertising campaign, created a buzz at the Villa Necchi Campiglio venue. Here we introduce the new collection that was unveiled at the same venue on the same day.

Over the past few seasons, Tod's has expanded its product range from a shoe brand to outerwear and bags, maintaining its roots as a luxury leather house while also promoting itself as a total brand. This season's collection is based on a "military" theme.

Outerwear such as aviator jackets and duffle coats are offered in blue and brown tones, made from high-quality suede, boa, ultra-lightweight nylon, and down jackets. The collection is elegant with handcrafted finishes. New bags have also been added to the lineup, including nylon backpacks and velour envelope bags.

This season, thick soles known as "new rubber" stood out in the shoes. Rubber soles such as side-gore boots, ankle boots, and lace-up shoes are also offered in materials such as suede and cordovan, and popular sneakers now feature thick running soles and new shoelace designs.

They have also released a large number of shoes made from materials other than leather, such as velour and wool check, and just like with leather, they have enhanced the functionality and quality aspects such as durability at their own research and development institute. As an Italian brand with a sartorial background, they are elevating their style to a high-quality sports style.
