The August issue of beauty magazine "VOCE" (Kodansha), on sale from the 22nd, features a photo of Jessica Michibata posing with her hands covering her breasts, taken by photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, also known as Araki.
Although Araki is known for his portraits and landscapes and is active both in Japan and overseas, this is his first time shooting a cover for a women's magazine. Araki commented, "I stripped away not the clothes, but the soul."
This issue features a special feature called "Number One in Trust! The True Best VOCE Cosmetics of the First Half of 2013." Beauty experts have selected all cosmetics released in the first half of the year, ranking them with a wealth of information. It also includes a special feature called "Summer SOS Complete Solutions," which aims to solve summertime moisturizing and oily skin problems. The issue comes with an original cooler cover featuring the Sanrio character "My Melody."
