From April 4th, CHANEL NEXUS HALL in Ginza, Tokyo will be hosting a solo exhibition by leading French female photographer Sarah Moon, entitled "D’un jour à l’autre - The Passing Days."

Sarah Moon is one of the most notable photographers of our time, and is also a highly acclaimed artist as a filmmaker. Sarah Moon transitioned from model to photographer in the 1970s, working on numerous projects, including advertisements for top fashion houses like Chanel and editorials for fashion magazines. In 1985, she began creating her own artwork, and has been active at the forefront of the global art scene for over 30 years. This exhibition, curated by Sarah Moon herself, explores the theme of "the passage of time," a theme she has pursued throughout her career. It features approximately 100 works, including some previously unreleased in Japan, as well as new works. Her unique work, which evokes memories and nostalgia through models, fashion, birds, elephants, and natural landscapes, suggests the transience of time. Visitors will be captivated by the mystical and profound worldview that will make them forget the passage of time. To commemorate the opening of this exhibition, a special exhibition of works created in collaboration between Sarah Moon and Chanel Fine Jewelry will be held at the Chanel Ginza boutique and Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo for a portion of the exhibition.
