The new Chloe releases fine jewelry charms with a "feminine" motif

Jan 27, 2018

Chloé unveiled new fine jewelry pieces for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The first runway collection from new creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi featured four lines that collage-like reimaginings of icons and styles from the house's long history. "FEMININITIES" is a talisman-like jewelry series featuring the house's iconic symbols of "woman" and "little horse." Inspired by Chloé founder Gaby Aghion, who spent her childhood in Egypt, the designs combine a variety of materials and colors. The collection includes necklaces with sculpted pendants, intricate horse pendant earrings, and bracelets, all of which reflect the house's playful spirit. "REESE" takes inspiration from this season's newly redesigned "DREW bijou" bag, and features a design made up of rings of different sizes casually joined together. The multi-finger ring, which gives an industrial impression, has an appealing edgy volume that adds an accent to any style. "ROMIE" combines gemstones such as jade, aventurine, calcite, and chalcedony with leather straps, and features a lineup of elegant necklaces. "RITA" also draws inspiration from Georgia O'Keeffe, a leading female painter of 20th century American contemporary art, and features symbols of the American West and desert. It offers necklaces, cuffs, and earrings modeled after animal bones, making it an iconic jewelry line that stands out for the beauty of its details.
