Salvatore Ferragamo has released the new "Sofia Rainbow" bag for its Spring 2018 collection.
The latest version of the "Sofia" bag, first introduced in 2009, "Sofia Rainbow" perfectly embodies the brand's iconic elements while also incorporating a modern, feminine attitude.
The compact, geometric bag comes in a lineup of spring/summer colors, including the pale pink "Bonbon," the vibrant "Begonia," and trendy "Lilac" and "Pistachio."
Opening the two side zippers on the inside of the bag reveals that each gusseted pocket compartment is a different color, paying homage to the legendary rainbow sandals created by Salvatore Ferragamo for Judy Garland in 1938.
These sandals remain a creative example of the brand's signature color scheme, and their intricate construction makes them a true masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship.
