Jun 24, 2013

Tower Records will launch "TOWER REVOLVE PROJECT" (also known as "Tower Revo"), a streaming media exclusive to its Shibuya store, on the 25th.
The media will primarily broadcast in-store events held at "CUTUP STUDIO," a live music space on the store's basement floor, as well as original programs. Two to three programs are planned per week, including collaborations with various spaces and media outlets promoting Shibuya area culture. In addition, the media will use Twitter and other platforms to disseminate information unique to the programs and create communication with customers, linking the physical store with streaming media to provide a content experience.
On the first day, June 25th, music writer Kazumi Nanba and Tower Records President Ikuo Minewaki will broadcast a two-hour program titled "Kazumi Nanba's Idol Thirty-six Chambers of Idols," featuring idol guests, for music writer Kazumi Nanba and Tower Records President Ikuo Minewaki. The memorable first talk guests will be Nakajima Saki and Okai Chisato from the popular idol group °C-ute. The live guests will be Power Spot, a seven-member idol group active mainly in Tokyo.

Numbered tickets to watch the show will be distributed randomly on a first-come, first-served basis to those who pre-order °C-ute's new single, which will be released on July 10th. Tickets will be accepted at a special counter on the first floor from 7pm on the day of the event.
