The Yayoi Kusama Museum in Bentencho, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, is holding an inaugural exhibition, "Creation is a solitary endeavor; love is the true approach to art," until February 25, 2018. The exhibition centers around the latest painting series, "My Eternal Soul," and also features a mirror room and a new three-dimensional pumpkin sculpture, "Starry Pumpkin," on the rooftop.

Hiroshi Sugimoto's masterpiece, "Enoura Observatory," has finally opened, "a place to measure the distance between yourself and the world and the universe."

Photographer and contemporary artist Hiroshi Sugimoto has invested his own money into a major project, "Odawara Art Foundation." After 20 years from conception to construction, Enoura Observatory will open to the public from the 10th. Spread out on a hill overlooking Sagami Bay, visitors can tour several buildings, including a gallery building displaying photography and antique art, a teahouse, and an optical glass stage.
