The second installment of the "LIKE MIKE" collection, a collaboration between Nike's Jordan Brand and Gatorade, has been announced.
"Air Jordan 1 OG HIGH Gatorade Collection" (¥18,900 including tax)
As a tribute to the historic beverage that has energized athletes for generations, the Air Jordan 1 OG HIGH has been updated with four vibrant colorways: Lemon Lime, Grape, Cool Blue, and Orange. Featuring premium leather uppers, each colorway features the words "Be Like Mike" engraved on the inside of the tongue, and Gatorade logos are scattered throughout the shoe.
The Air Jordan logo is finished to resemble a Gatorade bottle cap, and a bolt mark is recessed into the heel of the shoe's exterior. Additionally, a hand towel featuring both the Jumpman and Gatorade logos and a similar hang tag are included in the shoe box, highlighting the attention to detail you'd expect from a special collaboration item.
Air Jordan VI Gatorade (¥26,460 including tax)
This Air Jordan VI, originally worn by Michael Jordan in the Gatorade campaign, features a green suede upper and vibrant orange details. Accents of the colorway include a squeeze bottle-inspired lace lock and Gatorade logo on the insole, as well as an embroidered "If I could be" line from the ad's song at the time on the inside of the tongue. The "Air Jordan 1 OG HIGH Gatorade Collection" will be available from December 27th, and the "Air Jordan VI Gatorade" will be available from December 30th at NIKE.COM and select Nike retailers.
