The Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store's end-of-year tradition, "Mitsukoshi's Ninth," will be held on December 29th in the Central Hall on the first floor of the Japan Pavilion.

This year marks the 33rd anniversary of this event, and from the central hall's atrium, where the magnificent "Magokoro (Heavenly Maiden) Statue" towers, a joyous chorus of approximately 200 members from the talented Taito Ward Citizens' Choir will resonate throughout the store, reciting Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Fourth Movement.
