Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer has introduced the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer-02 Chronograph Red Dial Limited Edition, breathing new energy into the TAG Heuer Carrera Heritage Inspire collection, its most elegant chronograph, with a fiery red design.
First designed in 1963, the Heuer Carrera established TAG Heuer's timeless signature style as its most refined sports chronograph collection. TAG Heuer pays tribute to Jack Heuer's visionary vision with this bold yet unexpected model, infusing his beloved timepiece with modern elegance and performance.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer-02 Chronograph Red Dial Limited Edition shares the same aesthetic of the Heuer Carrera that first made it popular with demanding racing pilots: clean, understated, and highly legible. While retaining the silhouette of the original Heuer Carrera Ref. 2447, including the iconic lugs and pushers, the case has been scaled up to 39mm in diameter and the indexes and hour and minute hands are faceted, rhodium-plated, and finished with Super-LumiNova for exceptional legibility.
The sapphire crystal and elegant tri-compax dial have been given a new look in deep red. While red is rarely used as the entire dial color in the Carrera collection, it has been a TAG Heuer signature color for decades. From the brand logo and subtle design accents like the red tachymeter scale on 1960s Heuer Carreras, to the vibrant red hands on the Heuer Monaco and Ayrton Senna's chronographs, and standout pieces like the 1974 Heuer Silverstone, red is a core color of TAG Heuer's identity.
This deep red model infuses this classic timepiece with new energy and presence. The dial features a sunray finish, while the three chronograph counters (hours, minutes, and seconds) are snailed, creating a subtle contrast and a captivating play of light and shadow on the wrist. The dial features the Heuer logo and the Carrera name.
The highly precise in-house chronograph movement, the Calibre Heuer 02, boasts a power reserve of approximately 80 hours, and features distinctive red engravings on the column wheel and rotor, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Red Dial Limited Edition is presented on a black alligator strap with a steel folding clasp and is limited to 600 pieces.
A true collector's watch, the case back is inscribed with the words "ONE OF 600" and "Limited Edition." The exclusive TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02 Chronograph Red Dial Limited Edition captures the elegant and sporty characteristics of its iconic predecessor, adding an extra touch of flair and modernity.
